And we're officially crawling!!!

For weeks now Ty has been doing this little "inchworm" thing (which slightly resembled break dancing) to scoot towards whichever toy he was after. So I guess technically he has been "mobile" for a little while now, but not officially doing the alternating arms and legs crawling yet. He is now just over 8 months old. Yesterday I noticed that he would switch arms a few times to move forward, but then he would revert back to his inchworm technique, which was obviously faster than really trying to crawl. Last night Robin brought Ty down to the floor to play with him while I made dinner, and all of a sudden, Ty started crawling! Of course, being the overly-excited first-time parents that we are, we ran for the video camera to capture the first moments on tape (see below). Forgive the high-pitched squeals from the first-time parents as we observe one of the first major milestones of our super-athletic son ;-)

Good job buddy!!!! Look out world...here he comes ready or not!
